Dwayne Adams offers a six-week intermediate watercolor class for students with basic watercolor skills, featuring weekly demos and guided painting on values and shadows, beach landscapes, expressive figures, florals, and urban scenes, culminating in a final session where students paint from their own photographs with individualized guidance.

Class 1: Explanation of values, lost edges, shading and shadows and how to achieve them with watercolor.

Class 2: llustrating foreground, middleground, and background values and colors.

Class 3: Rendering expressive figures including people and 4 legged animals.

Class 4: A demonstration of how to paint expressive florals using lost edges, and defined shadows, shading, veination, and background.

Class 5: Basic perspective drawing and how to capture a specific focus in an urban scene with many competing shapes and activity.

Class 6: Students paint from their own photo with rotating help from Dwayne.
