DAC literally couldn’t run without its volunteers. From being the first point of contact with visitors at the front desk to designing and stocking the Gift Shop in the Main Gallery, to serving drinks at special events and setting up tents for the HEART of Honolulu Street Festival, volunteer power is behind all the best things about DAC – so of course we love to brag that our volunteers are the BEST!

Many of our volunteers make amazing art, or have rich life stories that leave us astonished at every turn, but what brings them all to DAC is a shared love of art and the creative community.
