From the HEART

Five years ago, Downtown Art Center opened its doors in Chinatown with a simple belief: that art belongs to everyone. Since then, we've hosted hundreds of exhibitions, welcomed emerging Hawaiʻi artists, supported local creative nonprofits, and helped seniors find new purpose through art.

On Saturday, May 9, we're throwing the HEART of Honolulu Street Festival — a free, joyful, celebration of the arts on Nuʻuanu Avenue that showcases what this community looks like when it comes together. Come see what's possible when local creative energy is supported and celebrated.
